Weak Day...

How's it going? This won't be a long entry. Today seemed to start out good, but by the end of the day I felt so depressed. Honestly, I didn't eat the healthiest I could've. I didn't pig out, but what I had wasn't the best. It was a weak day for me. I feel right now like I had a ton of energy drinks, and I'm just coming off of a large sugar high, which is totally not the case.

I shall rebound and give my all tomorrow. One comforting thought I have right now is my all has an end, but Jesus Christ has an endless all... So I'm about to pray and go to bed so I can wake up tomorrow and start off better. Thank you guys. Sorry for messing up today...

In Him,

Isaiah 43:2-3a - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;"

  1. This is just like our walk with Christ: It's so easy to be faithful when everything's going well. As soon as something bad happens, that's where we find temptation hardest to resist.

That's why it's so important that we focus on being one of Christ's disciples, and not just merely a believer in Him.

He teaches us how to stand strong, faithful, & true. He teaches us how to keep moving forward when we're tired or weary. He shows us how to not look back, but to keep our eyes on the prize & move forward. He teaches us how to not call out to those 12 legions of angels, or in your case 12 legions of candy bars to save us.

The bottom line is, Rich Jones, it's up to you & you only to be faithful & strong & to do that which you know you need to do, not what you want to do.

It's good that your writing this blog. It helps you to keep yourself accountable & it allows us to encourage you.

    You're in my prayers, bro!!
