Five Gold Stars!!!

About to fall asleep... What a great day today was!! I finally got 5 gold stars on my subbing performance. Who would've thought they'd still be giving gold stars when you become the teacher?!? Here's the report...

How long did this substitute teach for you?* Full school day

Did you leave lesson plans? If yes, did the substitute follow your lesson plans?* Yes, and yes

Were assignments collected and left in order by periods?* n/a

Did the substitute leave notes regarding substituting in your class?* yes

Were absences and other records kept accurately?* yes

Was your teaching area left in good order?* yes

From all indications, was classroom control good?* yes

Did the substitute have to adjust your lesson plans? If "YES", were the adjustments appropriate? If the adjustments were NOT appropriate, please explain.* no

Did the students have a reaction to the substitute teacher? If "YES", what were they?* yes, positive and said he was funny

Would you want this person to substitute for you again?* yes

It's always good when someone recognizes your hard work. It brings such a good feeling. But it's important not to stop there because God sees all. He's truly our audience of one. I'm finding joy in the journey of wanting to please Him more and more every day, and the awesome thing is I feel His grace helping me to do so. Not that I base my faith on my feelings, because tomorrow, I could wake up feeling like I had food poisoning, but there's somethings you know, and others you rely on your faith and hope which God has blessed you with.

Got some big shows coming up, and today I started phase one of the South Beach Diet. I'm not going into too much detail, but it feels great. Thank you guys for your support!
