Another day has come and gone... Today I woke up a little after 7am and gave my dog her usual insulin shot. It's still weird having a diabetic dog, and making sure she doesn't eat something that could raise her blood sugar to the point where she could go blind. It's a real eye-opener that causes you to examine your own health.
It was a great day today! I had lunch with one of the pastors at my church who took me to Qdoba. I did a show that they catered one time, but we had to make our own food, so this was the first time I actually had something from there. I ended up getting the naked grilled chicken taco salad (I learned "naked" means no tortilla). Awesome thing is I didn't even finish the whole thing in one sitting, so I ate like a king this evening.
A friend of mine told me that TNA Knockout, Angelina Love was signing autographs tonight at his buddy's trading card shop, so I stopped by and got to meet her. She was really nice, and I even got to video her saying "You're watching the Rich Jones Show", which I'll use eventually.
I also got in some weights this afternoon. I feel so ghetto because I don't have room for the bench in my house, so I put it in the backyard and put a tarp over it when I'm not using it. Good thing our neighbors can't see it. It feels like I'm lifting in a prison yard. Thank you guys again for all your support. I'm really finding out who my real friends are along this journey!
