Happy...

"When you buy a box of Ritz crackers, on the back of the box, they have all these suggestions as to what to put on top of the Ritz. "Try it with turkey and cheese. Try it with peanut butter." But I like crackers man, that's why I bought it, 'cause I like crackers! I don't see a suggestion to put a Ritz on top of a Ritz. I didn't buy them because they're little edible plates! Well, here I am. The new vitamin supplement is going well! I'm anxious to see the results once my 60 day supply runs out. Without a doubt, I know success isn't dependent on taking it, but rather adjusting eating & exercise habits while taking it. There's way too many people who get discouraged when they think they've found the "miracle" weight-loss gimmick that will effortlessly make them skinny again. I like how my Dad puts it, "You didn't get fat overnight."

So each day is a new challenge to make it through committed to the last. I did awesome yesterday despite a few temptations. To me, it seems easier to keep up with it, once you've survived a few days roughing it off fast food, etc. This weekend, I'm going to work on a regular exercise program to go with my schedule, which can be weird.

One tradition in my family that still carries on even today, is I normally get an Easter Basket still from my Mom & Grandma. I asked my Mom last night if she could just give me a gift card so I can get some healthy food. If I hadn't said anything, she probably would've gotten me some bags of Jelly Belly's, which are probably my favorite candies.

Things are going really well right now. I'm happy with the friends God has placed in my life. They've been really encouraging to me, which is amazing considering the negativity I was immersed in for so long. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!!
